Library A library plays a very important role in promoting our knowledge. The library provides information & ideas that are fundamental to function successfully in today's information & knowledge based society. The Library services play a crucial role in teaching and learning activities and will provide the main source in individual reading and study. Another feature of a library is a Book Bank facility. Students need not buy text books from the market. In turn, the Institute provides text books to every student. In addition to these books from the book bank, the students are also entitled to get other books from the library.
The completely computerized library of the institute has excellent collection of more than 5000 books of renowned Authors from all over the world and also subscribes to many National and International Research Journals. Computer Lab Computers are not something alien any more, rather they are a way of life. No successful manager of entrepreneur can survive without fully utilizing the potential and speed that is given through computerization; that is, we, at SITYOG have created the most optimum and advance computer center. All the computers are connected via a Local Area Network. Language Lab Language is essential for expressing ideas, opinions, views, emotions etc. It is an effective means to effective leadership. One of the essential qualities of an effective leader is the command over oral ability in the language of communication. In other words effective oral communication is a key to successful leadership. English is the most common medium in the Indian education scenario. Job interviews, without exceptions, are carried out in English. If one's and his boss's languages differ, their common language will often be English. More often than not, English comes to be chosen as the preferred language of communication.
Students are provided five language, i.e. American, British, French, German & Italian English software to improve their English communication & overcome their hesitation in speaking English.
Hostel Excellent hostels with well furnished rooms are available separately for boys & girls in our college campus. As a matter of fact, these hostels are a home away from home where hygienic and nutritious food is served. Both the hostels are equipped with water purifier facility to provide pure and hygienic water to the students. There is also proper arrangements for proper security of all the students in hostel.
Sports We have on-campus facilities for indoor & outdoor sports includes Badminton, Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Table tennis, Chess & Carom etc. The Institute supports the Students Sport Club and is achieving considerable success in the expansion of recreation programmes. Our College also conducts a series of regular fitness assessment programmes. After screening the cream of talents, SITYOG Institute of Technology organizes competitions with other Institutes from time to time to realize the potential from in-house competitions. This spreads a feeling of unity through sports amongst the SITYOG fraternity. To promote sports activities in the college, one faculty member has been appointed as sports in charge.
Canteen Canteen is a vital aspect of any institute. In fact, it is the life-line of every institute, where one can meet, eat and celebrate the golden days of life. In SITYOG, we have a very large, excellent & modern canteen that provides good quality snacks, cold drinks, tea, coffee etc. at reasonable price and confirms the norms of hygiene. Nutritious, delicious & hygienic are the important aspects of our canteen.
Transportation College has one own bus which is used for providing transportation facility to students from various parts of the city to college.
Medical Dispensary The College has one medical dispensary to provide medical facilities to students and staff members. At present dispensary has one medical officer and supporting staff.
